Big Champs is designed for older campers ready to grow confidence, independence, and leadership skills through structured outdoor challenges and hands-on experiences. Our RECE-developed programming blends team-building, goal setting, and real-world problem solving to help campers strengthen communication, resilience, and personal responsibility in a supportive and engaging environment.

Swimming Policy

Big Champs campers enjoy supervised pool activities with the freedom to engage without being constantly within arm's reach of Camp Leaders, thanks to their age and maturity level. To ensure safety, Big Champs participants aged 13 and under are required to successfully pass the deep end test before entering the pool without a lifejacket. Our approach balances independence with responsible supervision, creating a secure and enjoyable pool experience for all campers.

Change-Room Policy

Big Champs will utilize the private stalls in the Family Changeroom for added convenience and privacy. Before entering or exiting the pool area, campers are expected to gather in the designated areas of LCC. This ensures a smooth and organized process, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone in Big Champs.
