Q & A
What are the Covid - 19 updates and how does it affect camp?
Coronavirus has affected us all. Thus being said, we are mandated to follow and restrictions or policies the government has set in place to maintain the public health.
At this time, we are OPEN for ALL 9 WEEKS of SUMMER!
We adjust as new information arrives and keep you updated with any changes. Thank you for your patience.
What is the refund policy for Covid - 19?
At this time, we are providing families full credit for any canceled registrations (all families were contacted directly regarding any program cancellations). These credits never expire and are transferrable amongst siblings. We will also honor the price you paid in 2022 for the same (or similar) program in 2023 and offer you early access to registering for our 2023 programs.

While we are offering credits in an effort to ensure that this pandemic does not irreversibly damage the viability of Little Champ Camp, it is not our intention to add to any hardship faced by our camp families during these uncertain times.

Providing credits for our future programs is our best chance at protecting Little Champ Camp as a small business during this difficult economic time. We thank you in advance for your understanding of the difficult position we are currently facing.
What happens when there is inclement weather? How will I know?
Previously, we used the local church - Applewood United Church, but due to Covid-19, they are not available. Each individual group has a 10X10 tent that they will be using daily, during rainy days we are planning to place all the tents together (8 tents) and using sun walls to use as a barrier between each tent and surrounding, reflecting a large wedding tent. During the summer, we have experienced that the rain does not typically last the whole day, it comes in spurts, which allows outdoor play.
My camper can't swim? What are our choices?
We offer the opportunity to swim at the local pool during the Fun Swim hours.
However, we are not a Swimming Camp nor is it a private swim time.
Campers who are not able to pass the deep end test must wear a lifejacket at all times, based on Little Champ Camp and the City of Mississauga's Rules.
We welcome campers who are eager to learn and get comfortable in the pool setting with support form our Camp Leaders. If you would like your camper to not swim, please let the Camp Director know and we can arrange activities instead.
My camper has a special need, is this the right camp for us?
We welcome all campers. However, we do have limitations to best serve our clients when more of a one to one support is needed. Please contact the Camp Director to further discuss this.
